Spillway trail
Went down to LaPlace with BRAMBA yesterday to ride the Spillway trail. At about 5.5 miles it was very comparable to a lap at Comite… minus hills and plus about 50 extra twisty turns
All in all I really liked it, thought it was definitely less technical than Comite, but did required a lot more cornering skill. It was, however a very pretty trail that follows the edge of the Spillway for a good part of it. It was nice to have not only a change of scenery, but something new to ride. I’m really thankful for the trails near my house, however, we have much more variety and more than twice as much total trail. Here’s some pics (from the website, not from yesterday)

This is the teeter-totter, it was awesome!

You have to roll to the very edge of this contraption, however, and practically pause, waiting for it to swing down, rather unnerving the first time around…
