So, I survived another Hooper Hustle… bringing in another 1st place plaque for the wall It started raining around midnight last night and didn’t stop until almost 8 this morning… made for a Very interesting race! Standing water, deep mud and slippery clay all over the place! Part of the planned loop was closed because the bridges were under at least 3 feet of moving water. I was just so proud, not only to finish, but to remain upright the entire race, quite the accomplishment, I think. :D Showered, took a little cat nap, cleaned up the bike, clothes are on their second cycle in the wash… time to get back to normal life now… the dishes are still waiting to be washed
