Torture

Filed under: Uncategorized — Holly @ 7:41 am

I’ve been fighting back murderous thoughts for the last few days now…

Apparently my neighbors have obtained a rooster.

Apparently it lives far closer to me than to them… convenient isn’t it?

Yes, a rooster with an unlimited lung capacity and apparently no need for rest or sleep.

This daggum thing apparently can maintain it’s high level of function (if that’s what you could call it, I can’t think of anything nicer) with only a few hours of rest a night because it crows from Early in the morning (I’m talking 3 am) to Late at night (heard it at 1 am) and every hour inbetween!

It’s like the best form of torture going… better than Chinese water torture by FAR!!!

Aghh… and you know he’s been crowing the whole time I’ve been writing this….

Torture.

  1. We can fix this. First I would call the sheriffs office and see if there is any ordinance that would deal with the situation. If not, you have a dog right? I’ve heard that once a dog gets a taste for chicken blood, then you can’t stop them from killing chickens. Problem solved!

  2. ok, well, I live in a “rural” area, dunno about any ordinances, and my dog “Riley, the burgler’s best friend” can hardly be convinced to bite anything but his squeaky ball!

  3. Haha, I don’t know that Prissy would be any match for a rooster either. You might just have to get yourself a bb gun. Or maybe google will have some answers. Like poison corn! Do roosters eat corn?
