LASIK
I’m tentatively scheduled for the 27th of this month. Eye exam on the 24th to determine if they will be able to do it on me. (to ensure my cornea is thick enough for correction (twice if necessary) and to ensure my eyes are not too dry) Costly, yes indeed, frightening to have eye surgery while you are awake, yes again, to have your vision dim out for 7-9 seconds during one part of the surgery, again, yes. Being able to see…. priceless. And best of all, there are no restrictions with LASIK unlike with the old RK surgery where you couldn’t scuba dive, etc.

and here’s an FYI for ya - if your eyes are too dry (like mine were), they can fix your tear ducts while the cone thingy is on your eyes & the lasers are zappin’ about. (they also corrected both astigmatisms - sssoooo worth my mom’s $3k)
